RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
For unused and packaged items, please contact us before 30 days from the day of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (if applicable).
All charges for shipping a return or an exchange back to Stars-N-Stripes Co. will be at the expense of the returner (unless directed otherwise by Stars-N-Stripes Co. staff). In some cases, a 10% item restocking fee may apply to the return. Please contact us before proceeding with a return or an exchange. The return/exchange address is as followed:

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, books or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns on products that are for sanitary needs, underwear, gas mask filters, pre-owned boots or hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids, gases or pepper spray.

To complete your return in-store, we require a receipt or a proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the original manufacturer or send an item to us without notifying us first.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts (for reasons not due to our error) is not returnable.
Refunds (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a full credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sale items (if applicable):
Only regular priced items may be refunded, on-sale items and discounted items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable):

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you at a later date, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will be notified about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. It's impossible to guarantee a safe arrival of your return without tracking information.
Stars-N-Stripes is not responsible for missing packages that are delivered and marked as arrived by USPS, stolen packages, or packages sent to an incorrect address that was provided in the original order.
Stars-N-Stripes Co. ships exclusively with USPS First Class or Priority unless a package exceeds a particular weight. Shipping costs vary depending on order weight and delivery distance. This cost will be automatically calculated before a purchase is finalized. Tracking information will be sent within 1 business day after your package is shipped.
Processing may take 1 to 10 business days. This varies depending on if the order is a custom order, drop-shipping order, or if the order is placed during our busier season (October to December). Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions concerning processing time. In-stock items will ship usually ship within 1-3 business days. You will be immediately notified if an item is on back-order.
APOs and FPOs: In-stock items will normally be delivered within 10-15 business days via United States Postal Service after processing.

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
